Today in 1989, police in Toronto gave Alice Cooper a $105 ticket for disturbing the peace.

Cooper was touring the downtown area of Toronto in a garbage truck, blasting some 400 watts of music from his latest record, Trash.

The record, which was nominated for a Grammy award, included several of Cooper’s hits, like ‘Poison’, ‘House of Fire’, ‘Only My Heart Talkin”, and ‘Bed of Nails’, and spawned a worldwide arena tour.

The album also featured many guests, including Jon Bon Jovi and Steven Tyler, and writing contributions by Joan Jett and Richie Sambora, among others.
