March 13, 2002

On this day in 2002, Canadian frontman for Skid Row, Sebastian Bach was arrested in Middletown, N.J., for threatening the life of a bartender and the costumers at the Lincroft Inn. Bach was clearly under the influence of alcohol – and possibly other substances – scaring those at the inn. He ended up charged with disorderly conduct, possession of under 20 grams of marijuana, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released the next day after posting bail.

An aside: RazMataz staff writer Caroline Chiasson was invited to a pot rally in Toronto during Canadian Music Week with Sebastian Bach in 1997 during a High Times conference. After Bach lit the first joint. . . there, too, he would encounter the police!
