December 29, 2002

Dec29On this day in 2002, Creed performed an awful concert in Chicago.

Four fans ended up suing the band, claiming lead singer Scott Stapp was either heavily medicated or drunk, maintaining Stapp was “unable to sing the lyrics of a single Creed song.”

Stapp denied all allegations, and stated that rolling around on stage was an “artistic moment.”

The case was thrown out of court.
