Tough Age keeps it basic with ‘Snakes & Ladders’

With the recent release of their record I Get The Feeling Central on June 23, Tough Age gave fans a taste of their music through the release of their single, ‘Snakes & Ladders’. They’re completely computer-free as they flaunt a garage-punk style.

ToughAge-2Like with a lot of other indie bands, Touch Age mixes a hard rock guitar riff with a quirkier ‘60s wave motif. The style of the rhythm and the filter on the voice is enough of a throwback to show where some of their inspiration comes from. The singing is fun and dreamlike – playful, like the song’s namesake.
