Jayd Ink :: ‘401 W’

Aspiring pop princess Jayd Ink hits us with a new single: ‘401 W’, produced by Deezy of the Showboiz.

There is a sense of longing with this song, though it comes across as pretty basic as far as pop songs go. It’s soothing to the ear instead of being a vicious blast of diva right out of the gate.

JaydInk-401WThere are a lot of singers that sound the way she does, but with Jayd Ink, it really works with the semi-mysterious backbeat. The song pulls with it a sleepy vibe that picks up at any moment, making it a good lounge song.

It’s a relief that the female hip hop scene shows more variety than the typical man-hating “he cheated on me and now he’s gonna get it” songs, or the self-important “she’s just jealous ‘cause she’s not me” ballads. No, this song has a destination to it – a desire conflicted with guilt. The tune and the vocals make it sound like any other hip hop song, but the context makes it into something more. You just need to give Jayd Ink a chance.

She also has a few other singles worth checking out – find them at www.jayd-ink.com.

    He was once totally right. This submit actually made my day.
    You can not consider simply how so much time I had spent for this info!
