February 13, 1972

Feb13On this day in 1972, Led Zeppelin was forced to cancel their concert in Singapore when local officials, seeing their long hair, refused to let them off the plane.

Literally, they were not aloud off of the plane!

Other things to keep in mind when visiting Singapore:

– Litter bugs can be fined $1,000 for the first conviction

– Selling chewing gum and/or chewing it is against the law

– Pornography is illegal, too

– And no hugging in public without permission – no shit!
