December25Today in 1954, Bing Crosby’s ‘White Christmas’ entered the Billboard Pop charts for the eleventh time.

Crosby’s version of the song has sold more than 100 million copies around the world, at least half of that as singles. It became the largest selling single in music history until Elton John’s ‘Candle in the Wind’ in 1997.
