Cryptorips gets fans excited with ‘Glenwood G.G.’

Stumbling onto the Indie scene with their latest, musically awkward track is punk rock band Cryptorips with “Glenwood G.G.”. The group originates from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and are pretty new to the genre with only one other song: “Hau Kea”. To get attention to the formation of an album, the band released “Glenwood G.G.” to the public in June.

CryptoripsFrom the cover art to the grating style of the guitar, it’s clear that these guys are punk rock, through and through. The pace at the beginning and end of “Glenwood G.G.” is awkward with an unsteady rhythm of drumming, making it interesting in that respect. They also experiment with other sounds throughout the track, though based on this alone, I’ve come to see them as a sort of exaggeration of classic punk rock.

Rock out to Cryptorips by checking out their music on their BandCamp page and website. Check out their Facebook page for immediate updates.
