Sex Pistols & Rotten, Johnny & Vicious, Sid & Jones, Steve & CooToday in 1977, The Sex Pistols were fired from their label, A&M, after just six days.

Pressure from other artists on the label, as well as the label’s Los Angeles head office contributed to the decision to drop the punk rockers.

Some 25,000 copies of God Save the Queen had already been pressed and the band had already made $127,500 from the deal.
