Christopher had lived through a terrible tragedy – an accident with a tractor trailer – that nearly claimed his life. While on the course of his recovery, Christopher had slowly begun to play his guitar and compose lyrics that were omnipresent of a spiritual enlightenment. Because of his tragic experience, a new spiritual enlightenment and a great love of music developed: I Am Love evolved.
Warm and relaxing sounds that consist of multiple instruments providing a uniform flow of transcendent melodies, while the band members, Christopher (vocals, guitar, chorded zither), Will Whitmore (Bass, Banjo), and Kris Jackson (percussion, keys, vocals), perform an exhilarating and intoxicating tune that leave listeners in a pleasantly hypnotic state!
The nearly effortless and cool, relaxed methods of performing that appears dramatically mysterious and entertaining is especially evident in their music video for ‘Ghost in the Hallway’. It seems to emulate Christopher’s transition from a big folk-gypsy band to a blend of multiple genres, from classic, to cutting-edge contemporary, to vaudevillian.
A haunting medley of theatrical melodies and rhythms incorporate grunge and psychedelic surf-rock; I Am Love depicts a myriad of talents of instrumentals, vocals and creative performances. Music aficionados of all kinds will find satisfaction and pleasure in the fascinating music by I Am Love.
