It’s All Happening :: Is it festival season yet?

IAH-FestivalSeasonYetFestival season is fast approaching and I am beginning to salivate at the mere thought of a bill filled with my favourite bands, all in the same field.

High on my list of priorities this year are Burgerama and Psych fest.

Burger records is hands-down my new favourite record label and should be yours, as well.

This March, the independent label is putting on their annual festival, Burgerama, to showcase some of the best and up-and-coming acts on the label. The biggest names in psyche garage are calling the California-based record label home: Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segal, King Tuff, the Black Lips and the Growlers just scratch the surface of this stellar label.

Founded in 2007 by bandmates Sean Bohrman and Lee Rickard of the Make Out Party, the label started out as punk rock but has slowly moved to toward the sound known as San Fran fuzz rock and psych garage.

My loins are burning with anticipation.

Next on the list is Austin’s Psyche Fest, put on by the Reverberation Appreciation Society.

Froth in my mouth and cum in my pants, this is going to a good one!!!!!

Last year the Black Angels played as Roky Erikson’s backing band – does it get much better then that?

This year’s line up consists of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Spacemen 3’s Spectrum, King Khan and the BBQ Show, Growlers and so much more!

I fully intend to spend glorious two weeks tweaked to the nines on the best acid I can find and frolicking to the best music around.

Is there a better festival this season?
