Toronto-based electro-pop group, DIANA, have changed the title of their debut record in order to side-step potential legal issues, according to Exclaim.
The album, which is being released by Paper Bag Records in Canada and by Jagjaguwar in the U.S., was originally going to be self-titled. However, there’s already a band called Diana, and they’ve already released an album, called Diana.
Presumably in an effort to keep their name, the quartet has opted to instead title the record Perpetual Surrender.
Cassandra was happy to catch DIANA during Canadian Music Week; you can read her thoughts of that show here.
